Panic Attacks and Anxiety treated with hypnosis and hypnotherapy at the London Bridge Hypnotherapy Clinic
Anxiety can be caused or triggered by various situations. Anxiety alerts us when we are in dangerous situations allowing us to keep ourselves safe. It is perfectly natural to feel this way when confronted with danger.
It is not natural, however, if you are suffering anxiety or panic for no apparent reason. Anxiety can manifest as a huge release of adrenaline but as long as the threat is real this will subside as the danger passes. With some people, though, this anxiety appears for no obvious reason and can lead to what is known as a panic attack. The sufferer feels absolutely terrified and often experiences symptoms such as tightness of the chest, rapid and difficult breathing, shaking, sweating, rapid heartbeat and a tingling sensation on some or all parts of the body. Other anxiety symptoms may also be experienced. Having gone through a few panic attacks (or anxiety attacks) the sufferer often then begins to feel a ‘fear of the fear’ and this alone can bring on an anxiety or panic attack.
The sufferer has no idea why these panic attacks (anxiety attacks) are occurring and this can lead them to blaming the location eg the plane, tube, cinema or wherever else they may be. If, for example, the person has an attack when travelling on a plane they will blame it on the plane, a fear of flying develops and they then try to avoid all air travel.
The reality is these anxious feelings are just a manifestation of emotions that are already inside of you. My anxiety treatment can help you to eliminate panic attacks completely and permanently with hypnoanalysis so you can live the life you are meant to be living!
How are anxiety and panic attacks best treated?
Anxiety and panic attacks respond really well to hypnoanalysis which is a highly effective technique that is painless, fast and safe. The emotions causing these anxieties are completely locked away in the depths of the subconscious mind so the sufferer has no conscious awareness of them. Unlike hypnoanalysis, where you are talking through the bottled up emotions until they are resolved and released, most of the other therapies have no way of accessing these emotions and experiences. They tend more to try and get you to face your fears which usually only helps for a little while, if at all.
Hypnoanalysis, a special form of hypnotherapy, will allow you to release your anxiety and/or panic attacks permanently. Hypnoanalysis requires a strong bond of trust and rapport be created between the therapist and the client. Over a period of between 8-12 sessions, we slowly link thoughts and memories back through time using a process called ‘Free Association’ until we reach the bottled up emotions causing the anxiety. When these are released, the anxiety symptoms are gone forever.
